Supporting Our
Healthcare Communities

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, behind the scenes at Ampere we’ve asked ourselves — what can we do to make a positive impact? Our first order of business was to ensure the health and livelihoods of all our employees — everyone at Ampere is practising safe remote working and everyone, thankfully, has remained healthy. On top of that, our manufacturing partners and logistics providers are also working with the strictest hygiene standards while we continue to make and ship our products

But Beyond That,
We Know That We Can Do More.

We have teams on the ground in Shanghai, Shenzhen and Hong Kong and we’re able to source and secure certified PPE equipment that is greatly needed in the US. After several weeks of vetting suppliers, we are ready to utilize our supply chain to help move medical equipment where it is needed most.

How You Can Help

For the month of April, purchases on Ampere.shop will go towards purchasing PPE. And you can help. We’re rolling out the Choose What You Pay initiative of up to 30% off.

These offers will be available for the entire month of April or until the situation has improved, but the sooner you place your order the sooner we can contribute it to the purchases of medical PPE, which will quickly get donated to healthcare workers.

I'M READY TO DONATE

Please note: while the number of masks we are able to donate with each order is not huge, these are 100% secure certified NIOSH-approved N95 particulate respirators; there has been a global issue with counterfeits, so the need for secure certified PPE products is even greater than ever (but this does make these masks very expensive)

Medical Supplies Available for Direct Purchase

How We Found Our Suppliers

We did not undertake this search lightly. There are a lot of opportunists trying to capitalize on the market created by the disaster. As such, there has been a massive increase in the amount of low-cost, low-quality, medical equipment with fake certifications. We have literally received hundreds of offers for this.

We have been in touch with medical professionals regarding the supplies that they require most and the standards that those products must reach. In order to guarantee 100% of the product that we do donate is useful, we are only working with carefully vetted suppliers that specialize in these products with a long track record of supplying to credible organizations. However, that also means that our costs are higher. So, while we may not be donating as many masks, the ones that we are supplying are of the highest quality. We have also provided our contacts to the hospitals we are donating to so they can continue to purchase PPE beyond what we are able to donate.
